Last week we went on a big day trip with our friend Zoe and her mum who is visiting. We went from Golden, to Lake Louise, up the Icefield Parkway to the Icefields and back, across to Radium Hot Springs, then back to Golden.
And we saw a WILD GRIZZLY BEAR on the Icefield Parkway ... so exciting to see !!

Great photos - beautiful scenery. We haven't seen greenery for a while. You were very close to the bear - did it feel a bit scary. It's good to get up close to the local wildlife - we feel like that about camels!! Mind you camels aren't scary at all.
